Description

The canvas sneakers with which we started the Perus adventure, handmade in Peru!
The canvas of our sneakers is woven in Peru where each village has its secular patterns. The patterns we have chosen come from the Chivay and Chinchero villages and around Lake Titicaca. For sneakers halfway between tradition and modernity, to be worn without moderation!

Our sneakers are made by experienced artisans in Peru. They are paid 2 to 3 times the Peruvian minimum wage and work 44 hours a week, the legal limit in Peru.
We recommend that you waterproof them before wearing them for the first time and then as often as necessary. If necessary, wash by hand with a cloth soaked in soapy water. To prolong the life of your sneakers and limit stains, we recommend to use a waterproofing agent . And to give a boost of whiteness, sponge and Marseille soap or the magic white express product.

We have been collaborating since our beginnings with the association Los Chicos de Cusco which supports humanly and financially several educational establishments in the suburbs of Cusco. For each product sold, €1 is donated to the association, i.e. more than 20% of our profits. This donation helps finance a school day for a child in Peru!

because it makes it possible to produce the right number of parts in order to limit overproduction. This involves waiting a little before receiving your order. To thank you for your patience, we offer our products at advantageous prices at the time of the launches. Pre-ordering means getting a durable piece, made for you!
Perus was born in 2014 from a trip to South America and a desire to offer sustainable, ethical and committed fashion.
