Description

Red unisex Peruvian canvas backpack with colorful Inca patterns.

22 liters, 45 cm x 27 cm x 17 cm, laptop pocket 15,6 inches, inside zipped pocket.

Our bags are crafted using a very dense and wear-resistant 18 oz cotton, genuine leather for the straps and strong magnets for closing the bag. Inside each bag, you will find the laptop pocket and a little zipped pocket to put your small and precious stuff ! The ethnic textiles are woven in Peru and the patterns originate from villages within the sacred region of Cusco, more specifically Chinchero and Chivay. For expert craftmanship, we turned towards an Indian manufacturer in the New Delhi region, where the best know-how for these types of products can be found.

One product (bag or shoes) = One day of school for a child in San Jeronimo, a poor suburb of Cusco.

Care

For washing, we recommend using our sneakers shampoo and we recommend washing it by hand. This shampoo is applicable on any kind of canvas. The backpacks can't be washed in a laundry machine because of the leather.

Traditional patterns from the Sacred Valley of the Incas

Our canvas are woven in Peru, where each village has its own pattern. The patterns we have chosen come from villages around Chinchero, Chivay and Titicaca.

Artisanal craftmanship

Our backpacks are made by artisans in India. We are very careful about their working conditions.

One day of school for each backpack

We are in collaboration with the NGO Los Chicos de Cusco that supports four schools in poor villages around Cusco. For each backpack that we sell, we donate one euro. This represents the cost to send one pupil to school for a day, including the teacher's salary, school supplies and their uniform. It represents between 15 and 20% of our benefits.

Traveling companion
A practical backpack to accompany you everywhere! Canvas with Inca motifs from the village of Chinchero in Peru!
Traditional Inca patterns
The fabrics of our bags come from the Chivay and Chinchero villages in Peru, where each municipality has its own secular patterns. A bag halfway between tradition and modernity to take everywhere!
Homemade
Our backpacks are made by experienced artisans in India. We are very attentive to their working conditions.
Care
Prefer hand washing with a cloth soaked in soapy water. We also recommend our Sneakers Shampoo for cleaning localized stains. This shampoo is applicable on all types of textiles and will allow you to thoroughly clean all types of stains. Do not put the bag in the washing machine!
Pre-ordering is more responsible
because it allows to produce the right amount of garment in order to limit overproduction. This involves waiting a bit before receiving your order.
To thank you for your patience, we offer our products at advantageous prices at the time of the launches. Pre-ordering means getting a durable piece, made for you!
Social Project
We have been collaborating since our beginnings with the association Los Chicos de Cusco which supports financially several educational establishments in the suburbs of Cusco.
For each product sold, €1 is donated to the association, i.e. more than 20% of our profits. This donation helps finance a school day for a child in Peru!
Our history
Perus was born in 2014 from a trip to South America and a desire to offer sustainable, ethical and committed fashion. We develop our products so that they accompany you everywhere and for a long time. For this, we select our materials with care, as do our partner craftsmen. Each of our employees is paid fairly and works in good conditions.

Ucayali Azul

Pouvez-vous me dire si cela résout votre souci ?
Merci,
Nicolas
