Description

Navy blue 48h travel bag in 100% organic cotton canvas. Inserts and base made of REACH certified leather, embossing inspired by Incas patterns.

Wear it as you like : by hand, shoulder or across the body, thanks to its 100% cotton long removable shoulder strap. Small bonus, its flaps with snap buttons can be clipped and unclipped to suit your desires and to fit all your needs !

There are two inside and outside zipped pockets, ideals to store your documents and valuables that you wish to keep handy. There is also a second 14 inches inside pocket to put your books, magazines and devices.

Practical and super light, our Viajero is the ideal travel companion for small getaways or in addition during big breakaways !

Composition : 100% organic cotton lining and canvas. Calfskin leather inserts, Argentinian-born and certified REACH standard, which guarantees its safety for human health and the environment.

Care

The lining is not sewn to the bag to make the washing easier ! To wash the canvas, rub with a cloth or a soft brush with water and neutral soap (do not wet the leather inserts). You can also use our Sneakers Shampoo that you can use on any kind of textile and that will allow to deep clean localized stains. Do not put the bag in the washing machine at the risk of damaging the leather inserts.

Coming through ! After several requests from you and a few months of development, here it is, our ethical and sustainable weekend bag. We thought this model to be practical, lightweight and resistant to accompany you in all your future adventures.

All good things come in threes

Not less than three ways of carrying your bag : by hand, shoulder or across the body ! Its removable cotton shoulder strap will fit all your needs and its two main handles are long enough for the bag to be as confortable on the shoulder as by hand.

Artisanal craftsmanship

Our weekend bags are made in Spain by Juan and the team of the Cormod factory, in Alicante. The materials used for the manufacturing of our Viajero are organic cotton for the canvas and calfskin leather for the inserts. The metallic pieces are made of a highly resistant aluminium and copper alloy.

About our organic cotton

Did you know that the quantity of water needed to produce organic cotton is 88% inferior to classic cotton water consumption ? Its cultivation excludes the use of chemicals and is based on a crop rotation system. This process protects soils health and favors atmospheric carbon absorption. This allows to compensate CO2 emissions.

Why do we use pre-orders ?

Pre-orders allow us to produce the right amount of products and to limit industrial waste. We produce our collections in limited quantities and your interest is always growing. Using our pre-order system is the guarantee that each article is made for you, with care and in sustainable conditions !

#TwoShoesForSchool

We are in collaboration with the NGO Los Chicos de Cusco that supports four schools in poor villages around Cusco in Peru. For each bag sold, we donate one euro. This represents the cost to send one pupil to school for a day, including the teacher’s salary, school supplies and uniforms.

Beautiful and organic!

The interior and exterior of our Viajero are made of ultra-resistant 100% organic cotton canvas, woven in Spain.

Hot in front!

Embossed patterns are in the spotlight on this collection! We particularly appreciate embossing for its durability and harmlessness to the environment. Zero chemical component: the patterns are engraved on a metal plate which is then heated to 115°C before being affixed by hot pressing on the suede.

LWG Leather

The inserts and the base of our Viajero are made of genuine Argentinian cowhide leather from LWG-certified tanneries. This standard governs the treatment of leather and guarantees its harmlessness to human health and the environment.

Homemade

Our weekend bags are made by Juan and his team at the Cormod factory in Alicante, Spain. The very tightly woven organic cotton canvas is cut and then assembled by hand to form the body of the bag. Our craftsmen then sew the leather inserts.

Care

Prefer hand washing with a cloth soaked in soapy water. We also recommend our Sneakers Shampoo for cleaning localized stains. This shampoo is applicable on all types of textiles and will allow you to thoroughly clean all types of stains. Do not put the bag in the washing machine!

because it allows to produce the right amount of garment in order to limit overproduction. This involves waiting a bit before receiving your order.

Perus was born in 2014 from a trip to South America and a desire to offer sustainable, ethical and committed fashion. We develop our products so that they accompany you everywhere and for a long time. For this, we select our materials with care, as do our partner craftsmen.
