We created Perus with the desire to promote a certain mode of production and consumption. Since our beginnings, we have carried the idea of responsible fashion, concerned about its footprint on the environment, respectful of its craftsmen and ultimately of our customers. For this, we value established know-how and select our materials with care. Our goal is to make responsible fashion more accessible by producing responsible and quality clothing, sneakers and accessories. We favor responsible materials: the alpaca wool of our sweaters comes from extensive farming in Bolivia, the cotton of our sweatshirts, t-shirts, our socks are 100% organic certified GOTS, the leather used to produce our sneakers and our bags are REACH certified, our upcycled waist bags are produced from scrap fabric intended to be thrown away.

Our clothes are also designed to last. We want our sweaters, t-shirts, sneakers to be your best companions for years to come. This is why we have chosen quality materials and invested in environmentally friendly production to promote responsible fashion. And so that you can be sure of the origin of products, we work with trusted suppliers. Our sweaters and sneakers are produced in Portugal and Peru in regulated factories. Our original backpacks are made by experienced craftsmen in Spain, Tunisia and India. We make sure that all employees are paid fairly and that their working hours do not exceed the legal framework, because we believe that responsible fashion can be stylish, trendy and ethical. We strive to provide stylish and sustainable clothing, while respecting the environment and the people who make our products. We are convinced that responsible fashion is the future, and that each of us can do our part to contribute to a more sustainable and fairer world.

Our commitment does not stop there. We are also very proud to support underprivileged children in Cusco, Peru by funding a school day for each item purchased through our partnership with the association Los Chicos de Cusco. We are convinced that every child has the right to receive a quality education, and we are proud to do our part to contribute to this cause. This donation represents more than 30% of our profits, which demonstrates our commitment to this cause. It helps finance teachers' salaries, school supplies and textbooks as well as the purchase of uniforms. With approximately 200 school days in a school year, since our launch in December 2014, we have donated over €80,000 to Los Chicos de Cusco. That's a school year for more than 400 children!
