We created Perus with the desire to promote a certain mode of production and consumption. Since our beginnings, we have carried the idea of ​​aresponsible fashion, concerned about its footprint on the environment, respectful of its craftsmen and ultimately of our customers. To do this, we promote established know-how and select our materials carefully. Our goal is to make theresponsible fashionby producing responsible, quality clothing, sneakers and accessories. We favor responsible materials: the alpaca wool in our sweaters comes from extensive farming in Bolivia, the cotton in our sweatshirts, t-shirts, our socks is 100% GOTS certified organic, the leather used to produce our sneakers and our bags are REACH certified, our upcycled fanny packs are produced from fabric scraps intended to be thrown away.

Our clothes are also designed to last. We want our sweaters, t-shirts, sneakers to be your best traveling companions for years to come. This is why we have chosen quality materials and invested in environmentally friendly production to promoteresponsible fashion. And so that you can be sure of the origin of our products, we work with trusted suppliers. Our sweaters and sneakers are produced in Portugal and Peru in regulated factories. Our original backpacks are made by experienced artisans in Spain, Tunisia and India. We ensure that all employees are paid fairly and that their working hours do not exceed the legal framework, because we believe thatresponsible fashioncan be stylish, trendy and ethical. We do everything we can to offer stylish and durable clothing, while respecting the environment and the people who make our products. We are convinced that theresponsible fashionis the future, and that each of us can do our part to contribute to a more sustainable and fairer world.

Our commitment does not stop there. We are also very proud to support underprivileged children in Cusco, Peru by funding a day of school for each item purchased through our partnership with the Los Chicos de Cusco association. We believe that every child has the right to receive a quality education, and we are proud to do our part to contribute to this cause. This donation represents more than 30% of our profits, which demonstrates our commitment to this cause. It helps finance teachers' salaries, school supplies and textbooks as well as the purchase of uniforms. For approximately 200 school days in a school year, since our launch in December 2014, we have donated more than €80,000 to Los Chicos de Cusco. That’s one school year for more than 400 children!
