Meet our suppliers for responsible fashion
In February, part of the team went to Portugal to visit our workshops.
After 2 years of covid, what a joy to finally speak “in real life” to those who work for us on a daily basis and help us fulfill our mission of promoting responsible fashion.
Going on site allowed us to deepen our relationships of trust and to check the working conditions , the quality of production and the social and environmental commitments of our workshops.
Committed to responsible fashion
We were also impressed to see the extent to which these subjects are at the heart of their concerns. We are very happy because it was an important point to discuss with them in order to be sure of being well aligned in our desire to establish responsible fashion with a positive social impact.
We went to see:
- Miguel from the Confenix workshop which produces our GOTS certified organic cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts , with whom we shared a great lunch in a typical restaurant.
- Paulo from the Caminhar workshop which produces our ethical leather sneakers . It was also an opportunity to see our Rio basketball in full production!
- Ricardo at Dune Bleue who manufactures our socks, with whom we have discussed a lot about his certifications obtained for his beautiful eco-responsible approach.
New suppliers to go further in our responsible approach
We also took the opportunity to visit potential new suppliers for future projects. It was very interesting to visit factories , see what is done elsewhere and it gave us lots of ideas.And then, we're not going to lie to each other, we also took advantage of the sun and the good Portuguese food! In short, a great stay that boosts us for the future!
