The Royal Alpaca, an exceptional wool
The first shearing in an Alpaca's life is set aside. The fibers from this shearing are seperated and the finest fibers are subjected to 4 filtration processes that result in the Royal Alpaca. The other slightly thicker wools are only subjected to three of these processes and result in the Baby Alpaca. The Royal only represents 1% of the world's production of Alpaca wool!

Very dense weave
The artisans interweave 3 very fine threads - 2/28 titration - and weave them with a 9 gauge. This gives a very dense result for a warm and structured sweater that keeps its shape.

Artisanal craftmanship
Our knits are made by skilled artisans in La Paz, Bolivia. They are paid 2 to 3 times the Bolivian minimum wage and work 44 hours a week, the legal limit in Bolivia.

Social project
We have a collaboration with the NGO Warita, they support various projects related to education in the suburb of La Paz. They build biological greenhouses in schools to raise the children's awareness to organic farming and diversify their diet, they create theater groups and purchase school supplies. For every sweater we sell we donate one euro to the NGO, this represents 15% of our benefits.
